I'm also an art mod - hi, nice to meet you- and I stand by TOAS' decision. We have a scouting system to encourage beginners like yourself to improve your skillsets and to make sure that visitors don't have to trawl through mediocre pieces to see worthwhile ones. Your work, and I'm sorry if this hurts your feelings, is not yet up that standard. But you're still perfectly capable of getting attention from within the the unscouted section and I highly encourage you to start an art thread to get attention and gain useful feedback in the art forum. Also we have a limit of five scouts per day to prevent users from blindly scouting users en masse and without forethought- of the nine people you scouted in the last two days, I think two of them actually belong in the scouted system. It's not a limit people often run into.
